Reflection in the Water

One day when the air was clear and the sun was warm on Ari’s back he strolled down toward the creek to take a drink from the cool water. When he arrived at the creek, the water was motionless and looked like shiny glass. Ari was about to test the water with his paw when, suddenly, he stopped and jumped back, landing with a thud in the sand. Eliezer, the eagle appeared and perched on a low branch. The Peace of Dov

While on your journey through life, have you ever felt that the snow was falling heavier now, making the trail more difficult to follow? Everything is turning white and your progress becomes slow. Traveling for days in these conditions may cause your hopes to fade. The cold and exhaustion begins to take its toll on your body and mind.

You may begin to lag farther and farther behind on the trail. Maybe you feel as though you cannot take another step. A voice inside you says, “You must keep going” but you can hear nothing. The snow swirls around your head and your stomach continues to ache. You start to shake uncontrollably and your vision is blurred.

But then, you sense something come very close to you. A presence with a low, deep voice that says to you, “Come”.  With every ounce of strength left in your body you take the first step. You know that your survival depends on it. Stumbling at first and then finding your footing you continue to follow the voice. Continue reading

Two Are Better Than One

There is only one thing deep down inside of us that we truly want.  This one thing will satisfy our deepest desires, it will make our lives more meaningful, joyous, peaceful, and secure.  This one thing is what we all search for; strive for, long for, but we never seem to fully get a grasp of it.  The truth is that this one thing we are seeking for so desperately is simply as close to us as our very own heartbeat. The Gathering

As a little cub, Ari had the comfort and security of the daily rhythms of his pride.  Each morning the lionesses would gather the cubs.  They would make their way down the winding path to get a drink from the lake at the bottom of the waterfall.  Each evening they would gather once again into the safety of the cave drifting off into a peaceful sleep together.  This gave Ari a sense of identity and belonging.  It developed a foundation in his world that carried him through a most devastating and life shaking experience that changed his life forever. As Tears Stung His Eyes

 As a very young cub, Ari learned one of the most important truths that would carry him through time and time again as he ventured on the path toward home. His journey began with a tragedy that left him completely alone and lost. Everything he knew and held dear to his heart was gone and the loving security of his pride of lions would no longer be there to support him. He moved farther back into the shadows as tears stung his eyes. Continue reading

New Morning

Ari had a vision and he held onto it even in the midst of great despair and hopelessness.  His vision was so strong and so true within him that miracles began to happen.  He didn’t know how it would all turn out; he just knew that it would to the benefit of all and beyond anyone’s expectations.  He knew out of this dark night, the new morning would come.
